Products

Plans

Plans represent recurring subscription offers. Typical responsibilities:
  • define tier structure
  • manage pricing relations
  • manage provider-specific plan data when required

One-time products

Use one-time products for non-recurring purchases. Typical responsibilities:
  • maintain standalone sellable items
  • manage their pricing
  • manage provider-specific product identifiers if required

Discounts

Discounts are used for promotional and retention scenarios. The discount resource also includes discount code management through a dedicated relation manager.

Subscriptions and orders

These resources are primarily for review, support, and operational intervention rather than catalog setup. Use them to:
  • inspect lifecycle state
  • review customer activity
  • troubleshoot billing issues
  • inspect usage or related transactional data

Pre-launch checklist

  • confirm every public plan has the correct pricing rows
  • confirm provider-specific plan and product mappings exist
  • confirm discounts are scoped and dated correctly
  • verify test purchases for both subscriptions and one-time products
  • verify invoices and transaction records appear as expected
